I planned a cross-country snap/container move with King Relocation Services/United Van Lines. My coordinator was Cindy, and loaders were Adam, Ben, and Charles. Overall, the service was better than I expected, and cost less than I had planned, so I have nothing but positive things to say about the quality and value.
On the loading day, the guys were respectful of my property, communicative, and hard-working. They got things sorted, carted down stairs, and loaded in about 2 hours in total. The only hitch was the dimensions I had for the containers were slightly off, so my attempts to keep things to 1 container (rather than 2, which cost a bit more) didn't pan out. But, even 2 containers was incredibly low-cost compared to what I expected to pay for a cross-country move.
All throughout, Cindy was extremely responsive as the point-person in the office. She kept me up-to-date on what was going on, when major milestones were happening, and where my shipment was in transit. Couldn't ask for more.

Moved from Southern cal to the bay area for work. Sandy was great with the initial estimates 6 months prior, fair price compared to other estimates and Sandra was my move coordinator once I had picked a date. Easy to communicate and prompt responses by both. They were able to accommodate my last minute issue the day of packing and managed to pack and load all on the same day. Jesse the driver was knowledgeable, organized and informative regarding each step. He communicated efficiently and put me at ease with his 20+ yr experience. Packing/loading and unloading teams worked fast, efficiently and with great care to handle my belongings. Much thanks to Jesse, Brandon, Luis, Raymond and Gabriel for making it a smooth experience. Everything was delivered in 3 days without complaints!

Bait and switch.
Movers are great, but management can't be trusted. I did my walk through with movers, and received my quote. It all sounded great so we moved forward, midway through the move across the country they called me and said it would cost 2.25x more than I was originally quoted and the amount had to be paid in full in the next 12 hours or the movers would be instructed to take my items to a storage facility instead of my new home, at my expense. I paid it, and attempted to negotiate a reduced charge over the next year, my emails are always left without reply, or a firm, this is the charge. The quote was accurate and extremely reasonable. They referred me to an auto transport company which was also extremely reasonable, and most economical of all options researched.
They provided the services that I requested, which included packing and shipping. The packing lacked sufficient paper wrapping and box labeling was not sufficient enough (boxes labeled 'office' needed extra detail like: 'office books' or 'office decor' or 'office desk').
There were scratches on some of the furniture which I personally was not upset about, but can imagine that someone else might be.
There was insufficient communication between the driver and coordinator. Two months prior to the move I was instructed to reserve two parking spaces in front of the building. This required purchasing a permit with the city, which was a nominal fee. The night (7:30 pm) before, I was called by the driver and was told that they were driving an 80' rig. After discussing this with the driver, I was informed that it'd be figured it out and not to worry about it (ha, no sleep for me that night). The following morning there was street cleaning on the other side of the street and the driver parked where parking was prohibited so the street cleaners could proceed (lucky for the driver that the space was available and no tickets were issued). This situation caused a lot of anxiety which up until this point was non-existent.

I used King Relocation Services through my company for a move from Los Angeles to New York. I highly recommend them. They helped package my items, like carefully wrapping all of my dishes and kitchen items. They also wrapped my desk chair in cloth to ensure there were no scratches. They kept my mattress clean with packaging. The movers were quick snd efficient, loading all my items. The delivery was set within the date they told me. The deliverers helped move everything up a fourth floor walk up! Super nice. There was no damage to any building parts.

We had a fantastic experience with these movers. From start to finish they were detail oriented, careful with our things, and thorough. We had them pack for us too and they used ample packing paper and packed everything carefully. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This was the best moving experience I have ever had. Communication was on point all the way through the process. Jessica answered all my questions quickly and made the process so easy from beginning to end. My company moved me so I don't know how the price lines up but I'm sure it was an excellent deal for the service received. The guys who packed me up were super respectful and took great care of all my things. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. The crew who unloaded also did a fantastic job and were great to deal with. In the end we are super happy and had no damages or anything missing. I would definitely recommend King!!!!

Did a great job with my cross country move from East to West Coast. Was able to accommodate my dates great. Showed up on time, and a professional job for both moving furniture, and a car. Overall great.

5-stars for King Relocation Services. My company supported my corporate relocation and contracted with King Relocation Services. My customer service reps Patti and Cindy were incredibly responsive, clear communicators, and patient -- we ran into scheduling issues due to elevator issues at my old residence and they were solution oriented. This really helped alleviate the stress of moving. Highly recommend!
